It looks AWESOME....(read more)

Decisions aren't fun

It's only been a couple weeks since my last post, but so much has happened. The Daily News redesign is complete and in production, my parents came up for Family Weekend, I went to St. Louis for fall break, and I dropped a class and my minor. The latter was stressing me out quite a bit last week. I decided to drop my digital media minor. This means I only have one major and no minor. Sorry it's a little more formal than the others, but I hope you enjoy it. Until next time, bon voyage! What happens when that “Freshman 15” lingers beyond your freshman year and turns into an unstoppable nightmare? Fifth-year senior Jennifer Leeman faced this same problem. “Since my freshman year, I have put on probably 35-40 pounds…and I was tired of it, so I wanted to lose it.” Jillita...(read more)

SWINE FLU OUTBREAK!!!

Good Afternoon! The last 48 hours have been filled with contemplation about the much talked about H1N1 Virus, also known as…THE SWINE FLU. Whooooaaaaaa, the Swine Flu has officially, for a good while now, settled at Ball State. This summer I heard stories about this mystery flu and pictured mass pandemonium, people jumping out of windows, hordes of students running through the streets, and cars running off the road. Instead,...(read more)

This is how I spent my Fall Break

As some of you know I took a week off of school to go home and be with family and it was very much needed. To start off my mom had her surgery on Thursday and now we are just waiting to hear back from test to see where we go from here. Thank you all for your support in this difficult time! To move on to better and happier things I loved being with my family these past ten days. We all came home and were just together and had a great time. One day my sister Paige and were going shopping and we drove...(read more)
