Hello Spring Break
Hi.
So, guess what. Next week is Spring Break. There is also three inches of ice on the ground at the moment. Not very "Spring-y" if you ask this guy. It doesn't help that I am going to be staying in Indiana for the entire break. So all of you people going to a beach or any of the other 49 states, don't forget me and send a postcard or something.
At this point in the year I am so incredibly excited about the end of school. This surprises me because I am a Senior and most people in my shoes what to stay put; near their friends and away from a full-time job. I am really going to miss my friends, but at the end of the year, me and my friend/roommate Brandon are thru-hiking the Appalachian Trail - something we have been planning for two or three years. If I wasn't embarking on this journey I think I would a little different outlook on the end of my education. With this excitement about the hike, I have found it very hard to be motivated about anything other than ordering hiking gear online (which is actually a lot of fun even though I am dropping a lot of money).

My only major plan for Spring Break is having wisdom teeth yanked out of my head. All three of them. I had the choice of going on a cruise but I thought being sedated and waking up in pain would be much more enjoyable. Maybe my mom will make me drinks and food just like an island girl somewhere in the tropics...probably not thought.
Spring Break also means a time for big tests. Mid-terms always fall around this time of year, and even though I only had one, I still feel for all of you. That's it for now, and if you are going anywhere next week or anytime on a Spring Break, do be careful and get back safely.
