Slowin' things down...
This entry should be short and sweet as I am yearning for something to do as I sit here at work for 2 hours...
So it's been a pretty laid back week, which has been quite the blessing. Other than an extensive advocacy presentation I have to do on Monday at 8am (BLAH) for my Music Administration class and a midterm in my Comm 210 class (that's speech) that was really quite easy, it's been relaxed compared to the past few weeks. Last night was packed with stuff other than work, which was nice. I met with a good friend for dinner and had church choir rehearsal. Following rehearsal, some friends came over for our annual Halloweekday Movie Nights that I started last year. Once a week during the month of October, I show a Halloween movie, leading up to the big Pruis Hall production of Rocky Horror Picture Show. Last night was the Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. If you haven't seen it, do! I had never seen it until someone suggested it last year, and I loved it. It stars Bette Midler, Kathy Najimy, and Sarah Jessica Parker. Who knows where I'll go next...maybe part of the Saw trilogy? By the way, anyone notice there are plans for a 4th?? Yikes...
Anyway, next week things will pick up again because it's Homecoming week! So much is going on, including Air Jam, Talent Search, Music on McKinley, Opening Day Activities...the list goes on and on! I'm sure the blogs will be very busy next week with all the Homecoming activities, so make sure to stop by!
